It feels good. It feels right to be here, and helping Rina in the kitchen. Mallorie's sleeping in a chair, and I hear the others playing with Eddie in the other room.
The common room isn't as full as it could be, because most people would be home with their families, I think... but there are some here, that haven't gotten to be with them. Maybe we could do something for them too... I bet Rina must have something in mind already. If anything, I could fold paper... the Elders always said I was good at that. Folded birds.
I wish I could have sent something to Lady Eve and her baby... it might be too late this year, but I'll have to try for next. It'll probably take a while to get there, and I don't even know what would be appropriate yet... but there's time for that.
I'm glad that we're back... I couldn't imagine being anywhere else right now. I don't want to be anywhere else.
